A Design-Led Garden Studio Built on Experience & Craftsmanship
EarthCare Gardens was established in 1998 by Paul Brian BA (Hons), Design Director and founder. With a background and degree in Three Dimensional Design from Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication, alongside a further seven years studying horticulture and permaculture, Paul built the company on the belief that great gardens must be both beautiful and buildable.
Over the years, the business evolved from EarthCare Garden Services into EarthCare Design (2007) and EarthCare Gardens Ltd (2020). Throughout that growth, one principle has remained unchanged:

Behind every garden we design and build is a dedicated, experienced team working closely together — combining creative vision, practical expertise and meticulous project management.
Paul Brian BA (Hons) – Design Director
Paul founded EarthCare Gardens in 1998 after seven years working in the design and landscaping industry. With an Honours Degree in Three Dimensional Design and extensive horticultural and permaculture study, Paul leads all aspects of design, quality control and client experience.
He remains closely involved in every project — shaping concepts, refining layouts and ensuring each garden reflects both the client’s aspirations and long-term sustainability.
Paul’s focus is simple: gardens that are thoughtfully designed, beautifully built and built to last.
Susanne Katrina – Account Manager & Company Secretary
Susanne joined EarthCare Gardens in 2005, bringing extensive experience in sales, marketing and client management. She oversees client liaison, business operations and marketing — ensuring each project runs smoothly from first enquiry to completion.
Her people-focused approach helps create clear communication and strong working relationships, supporting the professional service EarthCare Gardens is known for.
Aidan Mark – Project Manager
Aidan brings decades of hands-on landscaping experience, having worked on prestigious commercial and private projects across Greater London and the Home Counties.
As Project Manager, he coordinates on-site teams, oversees construction quality and ensures every detail is delivered to specification. A Master Builder and natural leader, Aidan plays a key role in maintaining the high standards EarthCare Gardens is known for.
Brian Leonard – Operations Manager
With over 40 years’ experience in engineering, gardening and landscaping, Brian supports the smooth running of projects across site teams and contractors.
He has specialist expertise in water features, wildlife ponds and integrated garden pools, helping clients incorporate technical elements seamlessly into their garden designs.
Jan Abel – Financial Accountant
Jan oversees the financial management of the business, ensuring efficiency, transparency and smooth day-to-day operations.
A committed environmentalist, she supports the company’s long-standing commitment to responsible, sustainable practices.
Miles Fisker – Head Landscaper
Miles joined EarthCare Gardens in 2018 and has developed into a highly skilled landscape gardener. Working closely with Paul and the project management team, he helps deliver precision construction and beautifully finished gardens across South London and Surrey.
He continues to refine his design skills while contributing to the hands-on craftsmanship that defines EarthCare Gardens.
