1. Free Initial Site Visit & Consultation

Every garden begins with a conversation. During your free consultation, we assess your space and how you want to use it, discuss styles and materials, and explore what’s possible. This gives us the foundation to design a garden that truly fits your lifestyle and home.

2. Garden Design Concept Stage

Once we understand your vision, we develop the initial concept layout. This includes ideas for planting, materials, features, and the overall flow of the space. At this stage, you begin to see how your finished garden will function, feel, and come together as a cohesive design.

3. Detailed 2D Master Plan Drawing

Your concept is then developed into a detailed 2D master plan, setting out the full design with accuracy and clarity. This includes hard and soft landscaping layouts and a detailed list of recommended plants. From here, your plan can be accurately costed, built, and planted.

Featured Project: Wildlife Garden & Pond Design — South Croydon

This small urban garden in South Croydon was transformed into a peaceful wildlife sanctuary, featuring a natural-style pond, wildflower meadow area, and a blend of edible and ornamental planting for year-round structure and seasonal interest.

Working from a detailed design plan, we reshaped the layout, introduced curved pathways for movement and flow, and created distinct zones for wildlife, relaxation, and planting. The result is a garden that feels larger, more inviting, and deeply connected to nature — all within a compact space.

1. The Brief

The homeowners wanted a space that felt natural, peaceful and full of life — somewhere to enjoy birds, butterflies, bees and seasonal colour without high maintenance demands.

2. The Design

We introduced a wildlife-friendly pond, a soft wildflower meadow focus, curved brick pathways, and mixed planting for shape, texture and year-round interest. Edible herbs and fruiting plants were woven discreetly into ornamental borders.

3. The Build

Once the design was finalised, our team reshaped the garden, installed the pond, improved the soil, and planted a layered mix of sustainable, wildlife-supporting species.

The Result 🌻🐝

A small, overgrown space became a thriving ecological garden and urban sanctuary that looks beautiful in every season, while supporting bees, butterflies, ladybirds, birds, insects and amphibians.

Then the execution of the plans has utterly exceeded all expectations and the reality is now a totally transformed space. Every detail is perfect and I couldn’t be more delighted by my garden. What is included in a garden design service?

Our garden design service includes a site consultation, concept layouts, material selection, planting schemes, lighting plans and detailed specifications ready for build.

Do I have to use your team to build the design?

No, but most clients choose to. Because we are design-led and build-experienced, we ensure the finished garden matches the approved drawings exactly.

How long does the garden design process take?

Typically 2–8 weeks depending on project scale, revisions and complexity.

Do you design wildlife-friendly or edible gardens?

Yes. We regularly incorporate pollinator planting, edible elements and sustainable materials into our garden designs.

Can you redesign part of my garden rather than the whole space?

Yes. We can focus on specific zones such as terraces, planting borders or garden rooms.
